When you click
Mark Elements in
Attributes of the
Context Menu, active elements(points,edges,faces) of the selected shape will be
Marked.

If
mark_info... and
marak_select... are also installed, 2 menu will be added as below

When
Polygon Mesh, the elements will be
Marked in accordance with the
Selection mode.
In other shaped, it will be
Marked only the
Point. When
Joint,
Sphere, and
Circle, it does not need to enter
Modify mode.
When you click with Control key(Command key if Mac), elements are
Marked incrementally (If the already marked elements are active, these
Mark will be cleared.).
If you click
Clear Marks under
Mark Elements,
Mark of selected shape will cleared. These
Menu can be registered to the
Shortcut.

When you click
Mark Element in
View menu, a small window will appear, such as the following.

By pressing the eight buttons of this window, you can
Mark,
clear,
activate the Marked elements, and obtain the information of the mark.
The following are descriptions of the each buttons.
Button
Active Vertices or Control Points of selected shape will Marked. When Polygon Mesh or Line, press it in Modify Mode. When Polygon Mesh,
you must choose Vertex Selection Mode. When you press with Control key( Command key if Mac), those will be marked incrementally (If the already marked elements are active, these Mark will be cleared.).

Point's Mark of selected shape will clear.

When Polygon Mesh, active Edges will Marked in Edge Selection Mode. When Vertex Selection Mode, All Edges between the active Vertices will be Marked.
When Line, lines between the selected Control Points and the next Points will be Marked.

Edges's or Line's Mark of selected shape will clear.

When only Polygon Mesh, selected Faces will Marked in Face Selection Mode. When Vertex Selection Mode, All Faces which is surrounded by the active Vertices will be Marked.

Face's Mark of selected shape will clear.

Marked elements will be activated. When Polygon Mesh, elements that are marked corresponding to Selection Mode will be activated.
When Line, only Control Point will be activated. In other shape, this does not react.

The number and element's indices of each
Mark of the seleted shapes are displayed in the Message Window like a following format.
- Mark Color
By nine Color Box, you can specify the color of the mark. From the top, the color of Vertex, Line, and Face.
From the left, Object Mode of color, non-active in Modify Mode color, and active in Modify Mode color.
- Mark Size
You can specify the size of earch points and lines by pixel
size. However, the width of the line will be fixed to 3, when specified other than 1. This is the current Shade's limitations.
- Active View
Only draw the Mark in the View that you checked.
- Follow modified elements.
When checked, Mark content will be adjust at the changed number(deleting or adding) of elements of the shape.
When unchecked, at the number of elements is changed, all Marks of this shape will be cleared.
- Draw points reckelessy.
When you Activate the Marked Vertices, Shade overwrite the Mark by the Active Color. Then you will not know whether they are Marked really.
When checked, at that time, the Mark will drawn
slightly larger than the active color drawing size automatically. Thus, the Mark will look like a hoop.
