ABODUO LAN Searcher is a LAN search tool. It can search all resources in a LAN.

 Types of Resources ABODUO LAN Searcher can search

ABODUO LAN Searcher supports fuzzy search of the following resource types

files and folders  workgroups    computers  share folders    printers

all the types above 

It can be designated in the "Resource Type" drop down list.

  Types of Locations in which ABODUO LAN Searcher Can Conduct Searches 

ABODUO LAN Searcher can search in the following locations. 

an entire network  workgroups computers share folders folders

Search location can be designated in the location tree (on the left down corner of the interface).

 Control the Search Process

Use the 3 simple buttons to control the search process.

  start search

  stop search

  pause search

 Find What

Enter the resource name you want to find in "Find what" text box.

Wild card *,? can be used when searching files and folders,

(Wild card can not be used when searching targets other than files and folders).

several resource names can be searched simultaneously by using ';' to divide them.

If you enter nothing, everything shown, just like you entering *.

What you found are recorded until you close ABODUO LAN Searcher. 

You can select them from the drop down list.

  Advanced Options

Size and time also can be set as search options.

 Check file contents

ABODUO LAN searcher supports string search in files. 

If you want to find file with a certain string,

enter the string into the "has string " text box.

 Search several resources simultaneously

Several resources can be searched simultaneously .The "match" column of 

the result list shows what resource names the results matches.

 Drag And Drop

ABODUO LAN searcher supports drag and drop of result resources and location tree items. 

 Open results and their path

Search results can be opened directly by a double click,

their path can be opened directly by a right  double click. 

 Print the result files 

Search result files can be printed immediately, by clicking button.

 Sort Result List

By clicking the list header, list can be sorted.

List header icon changes.means ascend sort.means descend sort.

 Move Result List Headers

You can move the list header to your favorite place.

 Save Result as .Htm file

Search result can be saved as .htm files. The result files and their paths are saved as 

hyper links.
